Tyrell & Hena

I would like to welcome Tyrell & Hena to our blog this evening! Tyrell and Hena got married at The Winchester in Reservoir Hills. The one feature of this wedding is both Tyrell and Hena were absolutely gorgeous together! Tyrell had these eyes that fascinated all who looked at him… The morning began with me and my video team shooting the groom prep at Tyrell’s house. Everything went smoothly and I just loved all the detail in his suit. We then moved onto Hena at her family home where everyone was busying about. I tried to shoot some of the details in the outer yard but the family dog became over enthusiastic and stole my coconut from us, so we moved to another part of the house to shoot. Hena looked breath taking and just shone in all the jewelry that we placed on her. We had a few traditional ceremonies in the lounge before moving onto the massive hall at The Winchester.

The Winchester’s new hall took me by surprise as to it’s size! We all arrived in style with some beautiful sports and coupe’ cars. The entrance of both families was exciting and full of colour. From the Sarees to the beautiful dresses and suits to the overhanging chadaar. Everything looked rich and beautiful! The ceremony was well performed by the priest and I loved the way the entire family is always involved in the ceremony. After the ceremony and reception had ended we headed off to shoot the creative at an abandoned military base on the Bluff called the Bluff Whaling Station. It was filled with bullet holes in the walls from World War 2 (apparently)! It was a photographer’s dream come true and we were super spoilt with location after location. We could not get enough and the highlight video speaks for itself! I would just like to thank Tyrell and Hena for allowing us the opportunity in capturing such a special day in their lives! We wish you guys only the best that life has to offer…
