Ramone And Shannon
I would like to welcome Ramone & Shannon to our blog this morning. This couple tied the knot at St John The Divine Chapel in Glenwood. I began the morning at Shannon’s beautiful family home in Everton. Laura & Co was there working her hair and makeup and they did a great job! Shannon’s dad and mom were all excited and also got ready at the same place with Shannon’s brother. The shoot went smoothly and the dress, when revealed, was exquisite!
When we all rushed to the chapel, to make it to the church on time, I didn’t prepare myself for what I was about to see inside. The chapel was so beautiful! The ceiling was a masterpiece and was designed to give you a feeling of grandness and spaciousness. The chandeliers were exquisite! They had a Pastor perform the ceremony and he took his time to make everyone feel right at home. Ramone could not take his gaze off Shannon as she entered the chapel and I could feel his heart racing. The vows were all beautifully shared and before we knew it the first kiss was announced. After the ceremony finished and we had some family photos taken we headed off to Ballito to where the reception was being held. It was a strawberry farm known as Cappeny Estates. When we arrived the decor and setup outside the venue was exquisite and there was a local singer entertaining the guests with canapes being served whilst the photobooth was busy with guests having snaps with their loved ones. Couches were everywhere and the vibe was lovely! Inside was a sight to behold. Lee-Anne out did herself with a banquet of flowers, golden plates, perspex table numbers and crystal glasses everywhere. You could see this couple went all out to show their love for each other. After I got the pictures and video of the reception and decor I took the retinue to the dam for the photos. The light was perfect and we had a great time together.
The entrance of the retinue was started with the first dance. It is always nice when my bridal couple bend the rules of tradition. The reception was filled with laughter and and the speeches always had someone shedding a tear. Especially Shannon’s mom. It was so special to see all the love they had for the couple. After eating a delicious meal we then got down to the garter and bouquet and the DJ turning up the heat on the dance floor. We all had a night that we will never forget! I would just like to thank Shannon and Ramone for entrusting such a special day into our hands and we wish them only success in their future together…
