Kyle & Angela

I would like to welcome Kyle and Angela to our blog today. This couple tied the knot in the forest Chapel of Calderwood Hall in the Midlands. The decor was light and filled with sunflowers and it matched Angela’s bouquet. Wooden tables is always a favourite of mine and the initials that lit up the dance floor made the reception even more appealing… Kyle was quite nervous when I arrived and the guys kept teasing him to help ease the nerves. The forest was a big win for me with the guys as it gave beautiful light and backgrounds. The groomsmen were perfect for Kyle and we laughed at everything we did. A great start to the morning vibes! The girls were just as nervous and Angela’s sister had taken a few rescue pills to calm her nerves already. When I opened the bedroom door I saw this gorgeous, grey-haired bride in a floral gown busy with the makeup artist. When I saw the grey hair and the beautifully custom designed dress I knew this wedding was going to be a winner! After some champagne and a few fun shots with the girls I went to shoot the forest whilst the girls got changed. The bridal prep, on my return from the forest, went smoothly. We all had fun..

The forest was filled with guests waiting for the bride to make her appearance down the aisle. When Angela did arrive she arrived on the back of a trailer connected to a farm tractor! The entrance was spell bounding and Kyle had to swallow his tears as he saw Angela making her way down the aisle with her dad. The Pastor did a great job performing the ceremony and we were greeted with a herd of cows migrating to the other side of the woods. The vows were intimate and lots of tears were shed. After the first kiss and the exit we went to the Chapel above for signing the register and then to the island in the Lake for the cutting of the cake. After the family photos were taken at the Lake I took the retinue to the forest for a bit of smoke bombs and fun! Angela and Kyle could not keep their hands off each other and they graciously gave me enough time for some incredible light in the open fields for their creative photos of just the 2 of them alone. I was truly blessed with great light!

The reception was buzzing with great vibes, speeches and lots of toasts! Angela and Kyle have been through alot together and you could catch up on their moments together shared from the speeches of Kyle’s groomsmen and friends. The first dance was intimate and the dance floor became quickly heated up by the DJ and lots of guests letting their hair down. It was a night to remember…
