Johan and Carla

I would like to welcome Johan and Carla to our blog today! This wedding was held at Talloula in Botha’s Hill. This wedding was really elegant and intimate. We started off with my assistant going to the groom whilst I shot the venue and decor. Talloula never disappoints with the fairy light back drops and over hanging pieces to the beautiful wooden tables made the reception look so authentic and rustic. I then moved onto Carla, who was getting ready downstairs at the time. Carla was breathtakingly beautiful and she made my work super easy and fun. All the retinue that was at the wedding was easy to work with. After the Bridal Prep was completed we moved onto the ceremony where everyone was waiting. The Pastor was very professional and everything went according to plan. By the time the first kiss was executed and Johan and Carla pronounced husband and wife, the weather changed. The wet mist came rolling in. The mist gave my photos a very twilight feel and I used some flashwork to spice things up a bit more in my creative.

At the reception the food was “YUM” as always and the MC had a few good jokes up his sleeve. What surprised me at this wedding was that everybody knew how to dance well! Johan especially knew how to rip up the dance floor with Carla. We had alot of fun and I would just like to thank Johan and Carla for entrusting such a special day into my care. I wish them all the best for their future together…
