Chad And Taryn
I would like to welcome part 2 of Chad and Taryn’s lovestory to our blog this evening. We had previously shared their engagement photos on our site and it gets so exciting to share the big day… Taryn and Chad have got something special in their relationship as their personalities compliment each other all the time. They understand each other. When I first met them they had such chemistry for each other. This day was a super hot day in the Midlands. When I first arrived I tried to shoot the boys at the Golf Course in Balgowan but my GPS kept throwing me off course. I gave up on that idea and told the boys I would see them at the venue. When I arrived everybody was nervous and buzzing around with the preparations. I started with the venue pics and then moved onto shooting Chad and the boys. What was super special was that Chad asked his “shorter” Dad to be his best man! That was one for the books…
Chad’s suit was beautifully crafted and made him stand out from the rest of the groomsmen. We had a bit of brandy in the shoot and after I finished with the portraits I moved onto the girls. At the top of the staircase there was a bridal room with these amazing vintage mirrors… I loved working with the mirrors and it added to the character of the wedding album as a whole and to Taryn’s look. Her hair was a 1940’s style with red lips. She looked timeless! I got to shoot a small creative with the girls in their gowns before Taryn got into her dress. Taryn was photogenic and made my job easy. I found a beautiful room downstairs which definately got me a winning picture for sure.
The ceremony was short and sweet and full of laughter and jokes. Chad could not stop crying and was gasping for air when Taryn walked down the aisle. Everything about this wedding went according to plan. The only difficulty I had was the open sun that never softened. So I had to stay under the trees and where there was shade. At the reception I met a few old friends from my distant past and I was impressed by Taryn’s granny who was full of fun. Taryn’s brother was serving everybody tequila shots and during Chad’s speech all the boys made their way to the front for some intimidation and fun. For the father’s speech the MC brought him a small bench to make him higher. It was a night filled with fun and laughter and will be one of those weddings never to be forgotten. I wish Chad and Taryn all the best in their future together….
