Brent & Kerry
I would like to welcome Brent and Kerry to our blog this evening. Kerry and Brent got married at the New Apostolic church in Durban and hosted their beautiful reception at the Teresane Hall in Sydenham. This day was full of expectations and excitement when we arrived at Kerry’s home to begin with the bridal prep. Kerry’s mom had a huge chandelier in the middle of the staircase and was a magnificent hero piece for the house. Kerry and her bridesmaids all had specially made silk pyjamas with the “bridesmaid and bride” written on the back. Kerry Leigh looked like a super model and her makeup was done professionally. Brent was also looking handsome himself and had some fun times with my assistant Wayne. At the Van der Westhuizen’s home we had alot of fun with the girls with pillow fighting and some photos. Kerry looked like a vision in that beautiful dress of hers! The light that entered the room was very dramatic and gave me plenty of shots that I wanted.
The church was filled to capacity and the bride arrived in a stunning Rolls Royce. Pure style! When Kerry entered the hall Brent could not hold back his tears as the day he has been dreaming of had finally arrived with his bride walking down the aisle to meet him. Brent met Kerry’s Dad half way and then lead Kerry the rest of the way down to the altar. The pastor gave a beautiful service and spoke well of Brent’s responsibilities and the true meaning of love. After the service had ended I took the bridal retinue to Ushaka for the creative. We had alot of fun together and everyone listened to what I had asked of them to do.
At the reception we were met with a choreographed dance, for the entrance, and everybody got into the dancing mood. I must say the groomsmen have got some moves! During the speeches Kerry’s brother was mentioned about him passing away and I could see that the entire room loved him. Brent’s dad changed the words of a worship song and played it for his daughter to bless them the best way he knows how. There was a live band playing at the reception and not long after the speeches were done we were cutting the cake, tossing the garter and bouquet and having a great time in the wedding march. This was definately a wedding to be remembered! I would like to thank Brent and Kerry for allowing us to capture such a special day in their lives and we wish them all the best in their future together!
