Andrew & Vanessa

I would like to welcome Andrew and Vanessa to our blog today. This amazing couple got married at the Petit’s home in the Berea suburb of Durban. It is very different getting married at home and quite intimate in it’s setting. The home of the Petit’s was warm and inviting and had a large lawn for where they placed the marquee for their reception. The decor was classy and elegant and the ceremony took place inside the outer office. Vanessa got ready at a B & B nearby and when we arrived you could feel the excitement in the air! Once we had finished with the girls the father of the bride had his first glance at his daughter and could not hold back the tears.

At the ceremony Andrew’s father performed the marriage ceremony. The vows shared were beautiful and you could feel that everyone was mesmerized by Vanessa’s beautiful dress. After the ceremony and the exit of the ceremony we had some canape’s and shot a few family photos upstairs with some international guests. We left for Jameson Park with just the bride and groom who were an absolute pleasure to work with. They were lots of fun and did everything we asked of them. When we returned to the reception we quickly shot the cake and waited with baited breath for the entrance of the couple. The speeches shared were full of laughter and fond memories and Vanessa dancing with her brothers, was truly special. I would like to wish this couple only success in their future together and say a “thank you” for entrusting their special day in our care…
